How Does WONE's Foam Cleaning Machine Work for Large Food Factories?
Large food factories—from meat processing plants to central kitchens and dairy facilities—face a common challenge: how to clean equipment, walls, and floors
effectively, consistently, and efficiently across vast production areas. Traditional cleaning methods using separate pressure washers, foam generators, and
sanitizing stations are slow, inconsistent, and difficult to manage.
WONE's intelligent foam cleaning machines, including the EFC-325H, solve this by integrating high-pressure rinsing, alkaline foam, acidic foam, and
disinfection into a single unit. But how exactly do these machines work? Let's break down the process.
The Four-Function Integrated System
WONE foam cleaning machines consolidate the complete cleaning cycle into one machine, with four core functions :
frame:
The key to their effectiveness is the five-position multi-function valve, which allows operators to switch between the four cleaning liquids with a single turn.
Function
Purpose
High-pressure rinsing
Initial removal of loose debris and organic residues
Alkaline foam
Breaks down fat, grease, proteins, and blood
Acidic foam
Removes scale, mineral deposits, and hard water buildup
Disinfection
Sanitizes equipment and surfaces after cleaning
Nozzles use quick-connect fittings with color-coded management—different colors correspond to different functions, eliminating operator confusion.

The Cleaning Workflow: Step by Step
WONE's foam cleaning machines follow a proven, logical sequence based on documented usage guidelines from WONE's cleaning chemical manuals:
Step 1: Pre-Rinse with High-Pressure Water
The operator first uses high-pressure water (10-25 bar) to flush loose debris and gross contamination from equipment surfaces. This removes visible soil before
any chemical is applied, reducing chemical consumption and improving cleaning efficiency.
Step 2: Apply Alkaline Foam
The machine generates micro-fine alkaline foam that is sprayed onto the soiled surface. The foam's high viscosity and "30× expansion coefficient" allow it to
cling to vertical surfaces and dwell longer, maximizing contact time with the contaminants.
- Light soil: dwell for 5-10 minutes
- Heavy soil: dwell for 15-30 minutes
Step 3: High-Pressure Rinse
After the dwell period, the operator flushes away the foam and dissolved soils using 10-25 kg high-pressure water, ideally at 40-60°C for improved efficacy.
Step 4: Acidic Foam (When Needed)
For surfaces with scale, mineral deposits, or hard water stains, the operator switches the multi-function valve to apply acidic foam. The acid dissolves mineral
buildup that alkaline cleaners cannot remove, following the same dwell-rinse sequence.
Step 5: Final Rinse
A final high-pressure water rinse ensures no chemical residue remains on equipment surfaces.
Step 6: Disinfection
The operator switches to disinfectant mode and applies a sanitizing solution to all cleaned surfaces, meeting food safety requirements.

Smart Control: The i-clean Controller
What makes WONE's machines more than just pressure washers is the 7-inch i-clean intelligent controller, which manages the entire cleaning process:- Full-automatic operation — one-touch start of the complete cleaning sequence
- Energy & chemical consumption statistics — real-time tracking of water, electricity, and chemicals
- Abnormal alarm system — detects issues and alerts operators immediately
- Color screen + voice interaction — guides operators through each step
- On-site cleaning monitoring — managers can supervise cleaning compliance in real time

Why the Foam-First Approach Works
WONE's foam cleaning technology delivers measurable advantages for large food factories:
- Foam clings to vertical surfaces — unlike liquid cleaners that run off, foam dwells on equipment walls and ceilings, extending chemical contact time
- 30× foam expansion — a small amount of chemical generates a large volume of foam, reducing chemical costs
- Color-coded nozzles — prevents cross-use of chemicals and operator errors
- Chemical locking system — prevents unauthorized access to concentrated chemicals
- Six-level concentration valve — precise control of chemical dilution, adapting to different soil levels
WONE's foam cleaning machines work by integrating a complete rinse → alkaline foam → acidic foam → disinfect cycle into one mobile or fixed unit, powered
by industrial-grade 4KW pumps and controlled by an intelligent i-clean controller. The result is a cleaner, more consistent, and more cost-effective hygiene
process for large food factories.
